Unit 6 Films
Apparently, the film industry in Hollywood has been pushed out to the second position by the booming Bollywood productions.
Bollywood films are mainly shot in Mumbai, India. The scripts are predominantly based on impossible love stories with sexual tension and a happy ending. Actors are required to play their roles as well as singing and dancing. Finally, colour is added to all the scenes thanks to the costumes and settings. What's the final result? A film industry that has fans all across India and beyond.
One of the most awarded films at the Oscar Awards Ceremony in February 2009 was the successful "Slumdog Millionaire". It is set in Mumbai and you can watch its trailer clicking on the link below. It includes the subtitles!
Slumdog Millionaire
If you just liked it, try the whole website where you can choose the latest trailers and watch them with subtitles. You should thank Ana Fuster from EOI Cartagena who found this excellent link. Ideally, write a brief summary of the film on the chat below after watching the trailer. Which one did you choose?
